GTA VI fans are getting nervous that PlayStation users might get some exclusive content out of it, as Sony continues its partnership with Rockstar Games.
PlayStation and Rockstar Games have always worked closely with one another, and while Xbox and PC now benefit from series like Grand Theft Auto that partnership is still going on.
That doesn’t mean GTA VI is a PlayStation exclusive, that’d be silly, but it doesn’t mean other games down the road won’t be
According to inside reports there are plans to explore this partnership further, as apparently there’s a “big marketing deal” set to be announced in the coming months.

Reddit user Glum_Fruit6105 shared these reports on Reddit, theorising that “this is most likely about GTA 6, as Sony previously stated that the partnership with Rockstar Games would continue with PS5.”
Now again this doesn’t mean the game will suddenly pivot to being an exclusive for the PlayStation 5 but it does mean there could be more marketing for the game on Sony’s side of things than the likes of Microsoft.
Maybe we’ll also see some exclusive offers or bonuses around the time of GTA VI’s launch too, like a console bundle, some custom accessories or maybe early-access to GTA VI: Online, who knows.
Fans aren’t quite convinced it has anything to do with GTA VI though, as one suggested “Watch it be the new Mafia game that's releasing in the summer.”

Another harkened back to previous Rockstar Games releases on PlayStation, saying “Ps2 - San Andreas + Vice City, PS3 - thought RDR but apparently GTA IV and GTA V Bundle, PS4 - GTA V Bundle, PS4 Pro - Red Dead Redemption 2 Bundle. So it does make sense.”
We’ll have to wait and see but it doesn’t sound like anything to worry about, just standard business affairs and possibly a way of getting a new PlayStation 5 Pro + GTA VI for a combined price.
