The internet can be a truly baffling place sometimes. When you mix talented people with the power of memes, you can end up with all sorts of both brilliant and bizarre creations being thrown into the world - one modder recently got DOOM running on a tractor, of all things. Because having it on a McDonald’s cash register and a calculator powered by potatoes wasn’t enough, apparently.
Today in strange mod news, a modder has added IGN’s Gotham Knights review score into Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, for some reason. Yes, you read that right - the actual score.
Check out our own Gotham Knights review below.
It quickly became apparent when Gotham Knights reviews were published a few days ago that there was no general consensus amongst critics - while many enjoyed the game for what it is, others were far more critical. One of the game’s more negative reviews came from IGN, who awarded it a 5/10 due to its “poor combat, a transparently predictable mystery, and gruelling progression”.

Anyway, courtesy of Nexus Mods user Princec23 (Shellshock on YouTube), this 5/10 can now swing around the streets of New York, far, far away from Gotham. Don’t ask me why. But if you want to use this for yourself, you can for free. The mod turns the review score into a suit slot, so the creator notes that you’ll need to use the Suit Adder v1.95 tool to use it, which they’ve linked on the mod page.
GAMINGbible’s James Daly gave Gotham Knights a much more positive 8/10 score in his review, praising the title’s story, as well as its solo and multiplayer options.
“Gotham Knights is a first-rate Batman game despite not really featuring Batman at all,” he wrote. “The combat takes the weight and satisfaction of a top-tier beat ‘em up title and inserts it into an open-world action RPG that is as enjoyable solo as it is in multiplayer.”
