For years, fans of Capcom’s Dino Crisis have been waiting for a new game in the beloved survival horror classic series, whether it be a remake or a new story. We just want something.
Fans have even formed a petition to hopefully convince Capcom to give us the Dino Crisis remake we crave, to no avail. Capcom did seemingly tease the return of Regina, the protagonist of Dino Crisis with a red-haired woman that had a striking resemblance to the character. Sadly, that apparent tease just ended up being a generic character in the co-op wave-based shooter, Exoprimal.
Check out the impressive Instinction Unreal Engine 5 gameplay below!
As reported by IGN, while a Dino Crisis remake isn't yet on the way, Capcom recently revealed several other remakes are in the works following the success of Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 4. For those who adore Dino Crisis though, upcoming Unreal Engine 5 game, Instinction may fill the void in your heart.

Originally announced in February 2021 and developed by indie studio Hasbane Interactive, Instinction is considered to be the Dino Crisis (with a hint of Far Cry) spiritual successor that we crave and it looks mighty impressive, powered by Unreal Engine 5. The gameplay showcases the stunning world that you’ll be able to explore in Instinction with this featurette being a little short of oversized lizard critters and more about exploration.
This most recent gameplay showcase is only part one of a three-part series, so hopefully, we’ll see more dinosaurs in the upcoming videos, but you can also check previous videos via the official Instinction YouTube channel to give you a taste of just how terrifying the creatures are in this game.
No release date has been announced for Instinction at the time of writing, but its alpha is expected to be launched towards the end of this year with its full release arriving sometime in 2025. We’ll keep you posted on further updates related to Instinction in the coming months.
