Dino Crisis fans finally get chance at remake they've been waiting for

Our dinosaur phase continues

As one of the best dinosaur games of all time, Dino Crisis has been waiting for a remake since it was first released twenty-five years ago.

With a plot focusing on recurring outbreaks of deadly dinosaurs in closed environments, Dino Crisis was considered as one of the best when it was first released back in 1999.

Check out the trailer for Dino Crisis below!

Followed by Dino Crisis 2 in 2000 and Dino Crisis 3 in 2003, as well as two spin-off titles, the survival horror series by Capcom has been missed over the past two decades.

However, despite multiple calls for a remake, Capcom has not delivered the goods despite various rumours circulating over the years.

More recently, as recently as 2017 at least, Capcom said it would work on a new Dino Crisis entry “if a lot of people wish”.

However, there has been radio silence since then.

Nevertheless, fans are refusing to give up and courtesy of a recent survey distributed by Capcom, they want Dino Crisis more than ever.

Following the recent launch of Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, Capcom released a survey asking its fan base which other “deluxe remasters” they would like to see in the future.

Despite titles such as Devil May Cry, Darkstalkers, Okami and various Resident Evil titles showing up, one answer came top and you can probably guess which one it was.

That’s right, fans would like to see a Dino Crisis remaster the most and if Capcom follows through with the survey results, we could be seeing a Dino Crisis Deluxe Remaster very soon.

Of course, it is worth taking this with a pinch of salt but a girl can dream and we never really grow out of our dinosaur phases do we?
