Developed by Treyarch, it is set to be one of the most anticipated releases of the year and ahead of its full release, an open-beta weekend just went live.

Players dove into the action, trying out all the new features the brand-new title has to offer.
That includes its new weapons and there is one gun that is dominating the lobbies.
Beating the best assault rifles at long-range and the best SMGs at close range, the Jackal PDW was unbeatable during the opening days of the beta.
So it is perhaps no wonder that Treyarch has already nerfed it.

It may have lasted for two weeks in the open beta but the Jackal PDW has finally met its demise during Black Ops 6’s latest patch.
The news was broken to fans via Twitter.
“And finally, take a break from the Jackal PDW for a minute (it's been tuned for Weekend 2 btw) and equip the all-new Tanto .22 full-auto SMG at Level 30,” Treyarch posted.
So it seems that although the Jackal PDW has received a nerf, the new Tanto .22 will take its place but it remains to be seen if it will pack as much of a punch.

However, with it being available at level 30, it is guaranteed to cause some damage in multiplayer lobbies.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is now available as a multiplayer open beta so use this opportunity to get stuck in ahead of its full release next month.
