An industry insider has said that Bully 2 might be on its way after the release of Grand Theft Auto VI. Given that this game is expected to arrive some time in 2025, may the years be kind to fans of Rockstar Games.
While Grand Theft Auto VI was affirmed to be in "active development" in early 2022, the leak has done catastrophic damage to the image of the game, with a fair few erroneously thinking that the footage was from a recent stage in development.

Apparently, the leak shows slices of the game from about a year ago, and Grand Theft Auto VI is in a much more orderly state now, I would imagine. Still, it's estimated that the game will come out in 2025, and if Bully 2 follows suit, it might be a few years after that. Tez2, the insider who suggested that Grand Theft Auto VI will have single-player DLC, said that the game has had two years of active development but was shelved at an undisclosed point.
The hope is, therefore, that Rockstar Games could pick up where it left off after the release and support of the next Grand Theft Auto game, with a lot of work on Bully 2 already under its belt. Naturally, Bully fans are wary, owing to the fact that another leaker claimed that there would be a Bully 2 reveal at The Game Awards 2021 which came to nothing. With any scoop of this sort, we'll have to wait and see whether it is confirmed by official sources, or melts away in the sun.
