Whether you’re looking forward to the Borderlands film or not, it’s great that fans got an adaptation, no matter what early opinions may be.
And to celebrate this moment of gaming and film combining, Gearbox Software is giving away some great new skins for Borderlands 3 players.
New Tales From The Borderlands gave us a great narrative experience in the chaotic world
As announced on Twitter, there will be four new skins to get your hands on, as well as four vault hunter heads, a new weapon skin, four weapon trinkets, and two new ECHO skins.

Many of these are based on classic vault hunters from across the franchise, including Moxie, Nisha, Athena, and Grandma Flexington.
These skins and heads are usable by all vault hunters and can be claimed from any quick change station in-game.
These skins and trinkets are available from today, as included in the game’s latest update, and celebrate Borderlands hitting cinemas on 9 August.
Fans seem happy with the addition of skins, after all, they are free and who doesn’t love a freebie?

However, many still need to be convinced about the film itself, believing that the casting is completely wrong, with some thinking that it will flop on release and lose a lot of money.
There’s still hope that the film will live up to the game as long as it provides ridiculous over-the-top action bursting with explosions and a ludicrous amount of gunfire.
You’d think with a stellar cast of Jack Black, Cate Blanchett, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Kevin Hart that it would be a success but many are doubtful.
It looks like a video game post-apocalyptic Guardians of the Galaxy, but whether it has the same charm is yet to be seen.

At least the games are still great and you’ve got some cool skins to use which is as good an excuse as any for the film, right?
