It probably hasn’t escaped your notice that Sony did not celebrate the 10th anniversary of Bloodborne by announcing anything.
Yes, we’re salty about it, too. It’s honestly shocking that Sony seems happy to include Bloodborne in their promotional materials, yet doesn’t seem happy to remaster or remake the game so many fans adore.
Sony has seemingly forgotten Bloodborne, but fans are keeping it going
Which means it’s down to modders and community creators who painstakingly bring the game unofficially to PC, then tweak it and revamp the game for players to get something fresh out of their favourite game.

Bloodborne Enhanced exists on NexusMods, and tweaks the source files in order to expand the game by overhauling how it plays.
Players will be able to activate new lamps throughout the world, rematch bosses, switch on auto-restock to prevent the need to farming items, and much more.
It’s a bit of work to get this mod up and running, and you’ll need your own files for the base game before you get to work on playing this version.
However, if you’re happy to dance around all of that, there’s a wealth of new experiences waiting for you in Yarnham.

So far, the mod page has a huge number of fans who are praising the effort that went into this Bloodborne experience.
Using the game patcher, players can toggle a whole host of features, making the game harder or easier, depending on preference.
With new tools, weapons, blood gems, quick warps to bosses, it’s the ultimate way to play the classic Fromsoftware game.
And while Sony seem hesitant to celebrate the game, it’s down to the modders to keep the title alive, as we all wait for something official.

We really wanted to see something announced for the 10th anniversary, and recent updates to the game’s files led many to think a remaster was on the way, but apparently not.
