Bloodborne is in dire need of that PC port and PS5 remaster, though Bloodborne Enhanced will do for the time being.
I wouldn’t say Bloodborne is my favourite FromSoftware game, that title will always belong to Dark Souls, but Bloodborne is a close-second and I’d even rank it higher than Elden Ring especially on a replay.
It’s always a great game to play on Halloween, check out the trailer below
Despite not having an official PC port, fans have managed to get the game running on PC and a new mod called Bloodborne Enhanced gives us what could be the most comprehensive Bloodborne experience yet.

The mod does a lot of good to the game, but one of the biggest changes is it gives you the option to start the game with whatever equipment you want.
I love Bloodborne but I’ve always wanted to start the game with Burial Blade without doing a New Game+ run, and the endless grind for Blood Vials can quickly suck the fun out of the game when you’re trying to stock up.
The mod always turns the lamps, which are the game’s version of bonfires, into actual resting points rather than a way to warp back to the hub area.
You can teleport between the lamps as you can in other FromSoftware games, which is a game changer for getting around the map quicker.

Other features include the option to rematch bosses, more places to upgrade weapons and more, so it’s well-worth a try if you’re a fan of the game but want to iron out it’s less-than-ideal features.
Bloodborne Enhanced isn’t the remastered port we wanted, but given Sony’s presumed protectiveness of the IP it’s likely the best one we’re going to get in a while, unless it’s saving one for the PS5 Pro next year.
