While there are plenty of ways to play Pokémon digitally - maybe you're addicted to it on your Nintendo Switch, or you're still obsessed with Pokémon Go, despite the height of the craze being behind us - you really can't go wrong with a bit of IRL gameplay.

It's a must-have for any serious Pokémon fan, featuring three 60-card decks full of classic cards from throughout the game's history. It mixes the old and new with vintage favourites and six fresh cards - including Suicune ex, Lugia ex, and Ho-Oh ex.
The sleek two-player game board is foldable and you can store it along with stackable damage counter cones in a toolbox case, so you can take your battles on the road.
FYI, except for the basic cards, the rest of the decks aren't legal for tournament play - but will provide hours of entertainment among friends.
So what do people think of the Pokémon TCG: Classic Collection? It has 4.8 stars from 8 ratings on the Pokémon website - where it's currently being sold for full price.

"The package and the cards are high quality. Definitely a must for a collector," wrote one fan.
It certainly seems to be stirring up a lot of nostalgia among players, with another writing: "I purchased this product thinking it would be a great way to show my kids an artifact of my childhood sometime in the future, but I didn't anticipate how much fun it would be playing TCG Classic with other people who remember the height of Pokémania in the 90s. Each of the 3 decks is a joy to play as they all have favourites from the first run of the TCG with a few newer cards mixed in, and everything is so high quality it is hard to put down."
A third added: "This is easily one of the coolest things I've ever bought. The board is amazing, the dmg counters are super cool, and the cards are BEAUTIFUL!!!"
However, one shopper did gripe: "Did not come with instructions on how to actually play, if someone had no idea they would be out of luck, but the setup is nice!"

Meanwhile, a review on TCG player called it "obscenely expensive" - but they're talking about the full price, rather than this Black Friday deal.
For something at a lower price point, you could look to the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet 8 Surging Spark Elite Trainer Box, which costs £49.99 from Game. Alternatively, Argos has the Pokemon TCG: Battle Academy for just £22.
But if you're a real Pokémon fan who wants to relive the game's heyday, you can't go far wrong with the Trading Card Game: Classic Collection, particularly when it's so heavily reduced in price.
