With just under four weeks until Christmas Day, you might be on the hunt for the perfect Christmas present - or equally looking to pick something up to treat yourself.
And right now, the LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle and Grounds is available for £100 at Argos, down from £150. With 2,660 pieces, this will keep even the most experienced LEGO builders out of trouble for hours and hours.

Featuring a complete rendition of the Hogwarts castle, this set is a blast to build whether you’re a Harry Potter fan or not. You’ll piece together the Main Tower, Astronomy Tower, courtyards, Great Hall, Boathouse, bridges and greenhouses - and that’s before you make a start on the grounds.
Outside the castle you’ll build the Black Lake, Durmstrang Ship, Beauxbatons Carriage with winged horses, and a Ford Anglia in the branches of the Whomping Willow. There are plenty of secret areas to construct in the castle, too, such as the Chamber of Secrets, the Winged Key room, the Potions Classroom and the Chessboard Chamber.
It’s got a massive 4.8 out of 5 averaged from 75 Argos reviews, with 97% recommending it. “I bought this item a month ago and really was taken aback by the size of it for the price,” said one five-star review. “It’s huge and is wonderful quality.”
“This was a great build and very fun to play with, even more so for a Harry Potter fan like myself,” said another happy customer. “I would highly recommend this set for any Potter fan.”

Another added: “Absolutely love this set! Managed to build it in 10 hours and it looks amazing displayed in the lounge. I would 100% recommend it to any Harry Potter fan.”
However, some customers have reported missing pieces. “I am halfway through the build and have been very surprised at the number of missing pieces,” said one review. It's worth knowing that you can contact LEGO to have missing pieces sent over free of charge, but it is an unfortunate hassle if it happens to you.
Another customer reported issues with fitting the set together: “A number of the actual castle buildings do not fit where they are supposed to fit, and trying to make them fit causes the build to crumble.”
If you're more into Marvel, for £31.99 from Very you could opt for the Dancing Groot set from Guardians of the Galaxy. Elsewhere, any Star Wars fan would be chuffed to find this £209.99 R2D2 set under the tree.
