That is the case for the Xbox Series X’s HDR settings which can be found via Settings > General > TV & Display Options. This is where you will be able to adjust everything from resolution settings to HDR calibration with the latter giving you a reason to check your 4K TV’s limits. By calibrating the HDR settings to your Smart TV, you will be able to get an instant improvement in graphics.
Additionally, if you don’t think you are getting the most out of your HDR settings, make sure that your TV and cable both support HDMI 2.1. Ultimately, making sure both your Xbox and TV is set up for HD/4K/HDR is a simple yet effective tip.
As well as HDR calibration, other Xbox Series X users recommend such things as owning rechargeable battery packs, downloading Dolby Atmos for your headset and checking which game titles have FPS boosts in order to make your experience with the Microsoft console all the more rewarding.
