Witcher fans have made it clear that they want one certain “underrated” character to have greater importance in future games.
For fans of the Witcher games, there’s loads to look forward to in the future. CD Projekt Red has outlined a huge array of titles in development - including a remake of the first game and an entire new trilogy (starting with Codename Polaris - the title colloquially known as The Witcher 4). We’re not going to be stuck for games to dive into in the coming years.
Take a look at the trailer for The Witcher 3’s recently released new-gen update.
Now though, fans on Reddit are anchoring after none other than Letho of Gulet (AKA The Kingslayer) to play a bigger part in the games going forward. The guy first appeared in The Witcher 2 as the main baddie, but can also appear in The Witcher 3 if you played the previous game (and avoided certain, ahem, outcomes).

“Letho of Gulet… underrated character with big potential. Would be great to see him more,” wrote charlesmonroe333. “That intro video from W2 was absolutely badass, I love it. I want a game where I’m Letho collecting kings’ heads, and I have ice magic and s**t. F**k yeah,” replied Principatus. “Best original character from CDPR in my opinion. Fits so well in the universe I'm sad he was not in the books, even sadder we don't get more of him in TW3,” added thegreatGuigui. “I’d take a game as Letho easily,” agreed alex_de_tampa.
Meanwhile in the world of Netflix, The Witcher’s showrunner has revealed that season three is targeting a July release, so it might not be too long until we can watch Henry Cavill’s final episodes as Geralt. Which is rather sad, actually.
As for those upcoming Witcher games, none of them currently have confirmed release windows, so we’ll have to sit tight and hang on.
