“Returning to The Witcher 3 after nine years to find this quest and I couldn't be happier,” announced Redditor Ghost_Leader07 to fellow members on the thread. “I played The Witcher 3 on release. I put about 800 hours into it on PC, but I haven't played it since 2016, yet with the release of the next-gen update, I had to jump back to it.”

“I decided to play it on PlayStation 5, and in my first playthrough, I came across this quest (in the Eternal Fire's Shadow) that I've never seen in my previous eight playthroughs,” they continued.
“Later I found out it was a new quest added with the next-gen update which was a great surprise. This is arguably one of the best quests in The Witcher 3 in my opinion, unsettling atmosphere, cool boss design, interesting characters and story.”
“This was an epic side quest that deserved way more depth, and screen time,” replied jaykub24. “Damn, do I need to replay this game now?” asked dan_mysz.
“Legit is one of the best side quests in the game, I can't wait for what they are cooking for the next Witcher game,” exclaimed Fil8pos150. “The best side quest in the game. I wish it was a bit longer,” said Kazzzzzia.
