In RPGs, it is not uncommon to die in some pretty shocking ways, and that is no different with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
It may be rapidly approaching the 10-year anniversary of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, but that hasn’t stopped dedicated players from making new discoveries in the CD Projekt RED hit.
Check out the update which introduced this epic death in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt!
The third game in The Witcher series is perhaps considered as one of the best RPGs of all time and, despite being inspired by a novel series, the game itself has made its way to the big screen courtesy of a Netflix television adaptation.

So it is perhaps no surprise that players still regularly boot it up and also get booted in return it seems.
According to one fan over on r/witcher, there is quite a unique way to get Geralt of Rivia killed in The Witcher 3.
“My first death in The Witcher 3 was an embarrassing one,” they wrote.
The post comes alongside a short clip of Vesemir and Geralt taking down ghouls in one of the game’s starting missions, Lilac and Gooseberries.

With the two Witchers going ham on the local undead, it is seemingly going well.
That is until Geralt spooks Vesemir’s horse who retaliates by kicking out their back leg and knocking the Witcher clean out.
This is, of course, a standard reaction for horses but not one that many fans knew was in the game.
However, it was reportedly added in the game’s next-gen update which was released a few years ago.

“Okay, I was just expecting a stray ghoul to get you from off screen or something but this is far better," one comment mused.
Another said, “Honestly though, it feels quite true to the general vibe of the world. Great hero dies getting kicked in the head by a horse during a fight - I can imagine that happening in one of the books.”
This just goes to show that there is much more for us to uncover in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt even a decade on from release.
