Star Wars fans horrified by 'young Yoda' we really wish we could unsee

Star Wars fans have discovered what young Yoda looked like and now it’s something that cannot be unseen.

Yoda has been around forever, well, at least in terms of the Star Wars movie franchise since Episode IV - A New Hope landed in 1977. Yoda is said to be 900 years old by the time we get to Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi.

“Luke Skywalker battles horrible Jabba the Hut and cruel Darth Vader to save his comrades in the Rebel Alliance and triumph over the Galactic Empire,” reads the synopsis of 1983’s The Return of the Jedi.

Fans have long wondered, what Yoda looked like in his youth. Well, one has found that answer after discovering some concept art of the Master Jedi, looking like he’s auditioning for a part in the Grease stage musical.

“I was wondering what Yoda looked like when he was younger. I wasn't disappointed with the search results,” said Redditor Aquaman_Forever

“Cooler than the other side of the pillow,” replied Ctrapass.

“Damn that sexy 200-year-old,” exclaimed cheese239.

“I can't help but imagine young Yoda sounding exactly like Miss Piggy,” replied RioAKD.

“For some reason, I always imagined him as a tall, strong-looking guy who slowly shrivelled up. But this is probably closer to what Lucas would show as a young Yoda,” explained Yeb.

“This probably isn't consistent with his species or whatever, but I always imagined at one point Yoda was a tall powerful-looking warrior,” said nkraus90, perhaps envisioning Xena the Warrior Princess.

After writing this article, I think I might just Google what Chewie looked like in his youth. It can’t be that bad, right?
