The latest entry in the never-ending Marvel Cinematic Universe machine is nearing its release with The Marvels and it has been confirmed that a popular character is making a triumphant return.
Earlier this week, the final trailer for The Marvels dropped ahead of its cinematic release this Friday with both Marvel and Disney hoping that it will be its latest box office hit. Whether The Marvels will be a hit with fans, remains to be seen, especially as many have suffered with MCU fatigue following an arguable over-saturation with releases on the silver screen as well as series on Disney Plus.
Check out the final The Marvels trailer below!
When the first trailer for The Marvels dropped in April 2023, it became the most disliked MCU trailer in just under 24 hours. Yikes! Hopefully, the actual movie will prove any of the doubters wrong.

“Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. However, unintended consequences see her shouldering the burden of a destabilised universe,” reads the synopsis of The Marvels. “When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with two other superheroes to form the Marvels.”
In The Marvels, Carol Danvers will be joined by Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani) and Monica Rambeau aka Photon (Teyonah Parris) to fight the latest big bad. The aforementioned final trailer certainly pulls on the nostalgia strings featuring the epic battle with Thanos in Endgame starring Tony Stark, Steve Rogers and the gang. As the trailer concludes, it confirms the return of Tessa Thompson who plays the charismatic King Valkyrie.
Will The Marvels become the latest box office smash for the MCU? Only time will tell. The Marvels arrives in cinemas this week on Friday 10 November 2023.
