Spider-Man is easily one of the most popular heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so it’s no real surprise that Marvel would want to capitalise on that.
Tom Holland excels in bringing the character to life and despite not having yet been announced, I’m sure a fourth Holland-led Spider-Man entry will surface further down the line.
Rumours are already swirling that the film could potentially follow Avengers: Doomsday.

In the meantime, a different kind of Spider-Man project is coming to the MCU.
Following in the footsteps of What If…? comes Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, an animated series previously known as Spider-Man: Freshman Year.
Set to debut during the MCU’s current fifth phase, the series will premiere on 2 November 2024 with a second season already reportedly in the works.
ICYMI: Captain America: Brave New World is set to release next year. Take a look at the film in action below.
The synopsis reads that “while getting ready for his High School orientation, [Peter Parker] is forever changed by events that send him on a journey like none before.”

You may have gathered then that this will serve as a prequel, charting Peter’s origin story which isn’t actually ever explored in the Holland-led films.
It won’t be Holland in the lead role though. Hudson Thames will be bringing the character to life.
This won’t be Thames’ first outing as Peter Parker as he portrayed the role in both What If…? and the Disney Cruise Line exclusive short film Avengers: Quantum Encounter which, no, I didn’t realise existed until this moment either.
He’s done a great job so far and fans are thrilled to hear he’s continuing with the role.

“He did a good job, I’m cool with this,” wrote Reddit user Pacperson0.
“He actually does a decent Tom Holland impression. Plus Tom is kind of big at this point. I doubt he has the time to record for this show,” added Adventurous-Stuff-82.
I’m definitely looking forward to this one. Mark your calendars, folks.
