Marvel is finally giving us the reunion between Scarlet Witch and Agatha Harkness, but not on the big-screen just yet.
Marvel’s most beloved witches have an unbreakable bond in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as Agatha was responsible for unlocking Wanda’s potential as the Scarlet Witch, with Wanda quickly becoming the one thing Agatha fears the most.
Many were hoping to see the characters reunite in Agatha All Along.
One day, the two characters are bound to meet again, whether it be as friend or foe, but unfortunately that day isn’t soon.

If Marvel fans want to see the characters together again sooner they’ll have to turn to Marvel’s Scarlet Witch, an ongoing comic series that sees the sorcerer team-up with a younger version of Agatha.
The story follows Agatha presenting Wanda with a new apprentice called Amaranth, but it’s unknown who this mysterious girl is and why Agatha wants her to be tutored under the Scarlet Witch.
Speaking about the series, writer Steve Orlando said: “Bringing Amaranth through the Last Door gives us a chance to upend Wanda’s dynamic with a scenario where Wanda’s faced with a powerful, mysterious being she struggles to figure out–an inverse of her own dynamic earlier in her life."
He continues, “Amaranth’s unique gifts hint towards an auspicious parentage and impressive power, but her life has been tinged with tragedy. There might be no one in the Marvel Universe that can help her, but if there was one–it would be the Scarlet Witch.”

If you’re interested in learning more about Amaranth and her connections to Agatha, you can do so through Scarlet Witch #6, which will be released on 20 November.
It might not be the live-action reunion we were hoping for, but it’s the best we’re getting for now, unless Marvel announces Agatha All Along Season Two or the rumoured Scarlet Witch solo film.
