I think I speak for all Marvel fans when I say that this needs to happen.
Plenty of fan-favourite characters have been teased, but few get the Marvel community quite so pumped up as this one.
After nine years, we might finally get the Jessica Jones comeback we’ve been begging for.

This news comes by way of ComicBook having interviewed actress Krysten Ritter about her role in Sonic the Hedgehog 3.
What will happen in the final season of What If...?
During the interview, Ritter was informed about Marvel’s Brad Winderbaum remarking on how he’d like to see Jessica Jones return to the MCU.

Ritter was apparently unaware of this comment, saying, “Brad Winderbaum said that? That’s really exciting to hear.”
She then added, “Come on, Brad! Let’s get it going. Let’s do it. I’ll be ready.”
While this isn’t confirmation that Ritter will play the role one more, it’s evident that Ritter is eager to carry on in the role if only Marvel would let her.
Given how popular the character is, it seems odd that Marvel hasn’t attempted to bring back the character sooner.

Once Netflix and Marvel parted ways, the Defenders narrative that was being explored on the streaming service came to an abrupt halt.
But now that Daredevil is returning, surely Jessica Jones can too...?
Fingers crossed.
At least we know that both Winderbaum and Ritter are interested in doing something more with the character.

While Jessica Jones isn’t dead, she’s apparently not the only beloved character returning to the MCU, after an actor teased about their return to the franchise.
Even though some projects have been unfairly lost along the way to Phase 6, we can all agree that Jessica Jones making a comeback will soothe those wounds.
Marvel, it’s your move now. What will it be?
