We all wondered whether it was possible, but the Marvel Cinematic Universe has regained its sense of hype.
Why? Well I think it’s a combination of factors.
Kang has been dropped as a villain, replaced by Doctor Doom portrayed by none other than Robert Downey Jr.

We had two back-to-back bangers with Deadpool & Wolverine and Agatha All Along; Avengers team-ups are finally on the horizon.
And there’s the fact that Marvel Studios has stopped making 10-year long plans that dispel any sense of intrigue.
The MCU’s troublesome phase may be over, but I can’t help but mourn its casualties.
You see, I adored series like Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel but I feel their viewership numbers were lacking simply because so many MCU fans were experiencing extreme franchise fatigue.

Thankfully, Ms. Marvel has since appeared in The Marvels but it feels criminal that Moon Kight’s future has been left uncertain.
That is, until now.
Captain America: Brave New World is up next and while it looks great, rumours claim the film may be testing negatively with audiences.
I’ll preface that this remains a rumour, so carry that generous pinch of salt with you.

But it’s not often that MCU rumours centre around Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight, so I can imagine that more than a few of us are going to be willing this one into existence.
While Moon Knight reportedly won’t be receiving a second season, Marvel leaker Daniel Richtman (Daniel RPK) has revealed via his Patreon that a Midnight Suns project is currently secretly in development, prompting suspicions that it’ll feature Moon Knight.
“I hear Marvel [is] fast-tracking Midnight Sons and looking for a director," Daniel said.
If you look at Marvel Comics, Moon Knight is a regular team member of the Midnight Suns.

Others include the likes of Blade, Doctor Strange, Wong, Ghost Rider, and Iron Fist, to name a few.
As we know, Marvel is opting against revealing projects too far in advance so it could be some time before we receive official word on Midnight Suns, but it seems a likely project.
