Marvel fans are overjoyed with the new Thor, joining the MCU very soon in its latest Disney+ series.
Thor the God Of Thunder is one of the most powerful beings in all of Marvel, including the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but Thor is more than just a man, it's also a mantle.
The same way Captain America is a mantle that can be passed to other deserving heroes, like Sam Wilson who’s getting his own film
We’ve seen Jane take on the role of Mighty Thor in Thor: Love And Thunder, and the end of the film also gave us an idea of who could take on the mantle next when Chris Hemsworth’s version of the character finally hangs up the hammer.

But that’s not what we’re talking about today, as the multiverse has blessed us with the coolest version of the character to date, Storm from the X-Men wielding Mjolnir.
Despite not being technically introduced in the MCU yet Storm will make her debut in the third and final season of Marvel’s What If?.. as she discovers Mjolnir shortly after it was taken away from Thor by Odin.
She appears in the trailer wielding the mighty hammer, which will presumably amplify her mutant abilities to become the strongest lightning wielder around.
Fans were thrilled with the reveal, especially since she’ll be played by the same voice actor from X-Men ‘97. “Thor will definitely need the Stormbreaker” said one fan.

Others while excited are eager to see how this will tie into the wider MCU lore, saying “I guess this universe has X-Men characters in it too like how 838 and the one Monica is in at the end of The Marvels.”
At the time of writing we don’t know if the mutants already exist in the current MCU universe, or if they’ll be introduced through some sort of incursion during Avengers: Secret Wars.
