Reports are flooding in that Colman Domingo has been in talks with Marvel Studios, and rumours now being to swirl that he will replace Jonathon Majors in playing Kang.
This is not a new rumour. However, the last time we heard about this it was mere speculation. Now we know the Candyman actor has sat with Marvel, it could turn out to be true.
Marvel have laid out plans for Disney+ shows in 2025 with a great quick look.
In an interview with Screen Geek, Domingo described his meeting with Marvel.

“It wasn’t specifically about anything. They literally sat down and said, 'What do you want to do?' And I said, 'I don’t know. What do you got for me?'”
The actor goes on to say, “Who would not want to be a part of the MCU? I just would want it to be right.”
An actor as good, and as respected, as Domingo could have his pick of roles.
Given that Marvel killed off Kang at the end of Ant-Man: Quantumania and have since brushed him under the rug, it would seem odd to hit us with a Uno reverse.

Though this is the company casting Robert Downey Jr. again to play Doctor Doom.
Fans are thrilled with the casting news, reminding each other that Domingo already plays Norman Osborn in Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man.
Perhaps he reprises that role in the MCU? Or he could be playing Bishop, says one Redditor.
Personally, I’d like to see him take on another role not marred by another actor - Kang can be brought back in years to come.

“He should ask for Blade,” says jsphjar. Though that would be quite the sassy move and I doubt the film would move any further forward.
“He’d make a great Blue Marvel,” said greatreference, while Thwhipped comments, “I really really want him to be Mister Sinister.”
Now we have to sit back and wait until Marvel or Domingo can comment on what role he has snagged.
