Marvel has confirmed that the popular MCU series Black Panther is getting the trilogy we’ve been waiting for.
Out of all the hits that Marvel and Disney have blessed us with over the years, in 2018 were were treated to one of its best offerings, Black Panther, starring the late, great Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa, the King of Wakanda.

Following the tragic passing of Chadwick Boseman on 28 August 2020, aged just 43, he was always going to be a tough act to follow in any Black Panther sequel.

The sequel arrived two years later with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever which proved to be a very emotionally charged MCU movie.
In many ways, the sequel was an opportunity for fans of Chadwick Boseman to say goodbye as the torch was passed to Letitia Wright, who plays T’Challa’s sister, the charismatic and tech genius, Shuri.
Chadwick Boseman can never be replaced nor was it Disney and Marvel’s intention but I think it’s fair to say, that considering the pressure that the sequel would bring, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever knocked it out of the park, as reflected by its Rotten Tomatoes scores of 84% from critics and 94% from the audience.
So naturally, fans will be wondering when Black Panther 3 might arrive. While we don't know its release date yet, fans can rejoice because the third movie has been confirmed.

However, as reported by Comicbook.com (via Deadline), following the confirmation of Black Panther 3, Nate Moore, producer of the two previous Black Panther movies is leaving Marvel Studios.
“Nate is a fantastic executive and colleague as well as a wonderful friend to all of us here at Marvel Studios,” said Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige and Louis D’Esposito in a statement.
“He has been a core member of our team since 2010, and his influence will continue to reverberate in our storytelling. Although we’ll miss him a great deal, we look forward to watching what he does next while also having the good fortune of working with him in a new way on our next Black Panther movie.”
Due to it being in the very early stages of production, there is currently no release date for Black Panther 3 but we will keep you updated when that information drops.
