Following the news, Marvel fans took to social media to share their thoughts.
With some excited about the stage show, others are understandably disappointed that this trio will not be coming to the big screen anytime soon.
“Ok, now I need this but in a movie and I'll be the happiest person on the planet,” one person replied.
Another said: “They always have better ideas than the studios.”
