There’s so much newness coming our way that fans aren’t sure what to make of it.
Not only is the MCU in the midst of a transformation, but it seems that the Marvel comics are as well.
To be completely candid here, Marvel is no stranger to change – how else would it have survived all these years.
Still, for a lot of people, change can be difficult to accept.

Over in the MCU, the new “Iron Man” to lead the way has been found. As for the comics, although they’re not the new face of the franchise, this character is dividing fans.
Black Panther #9 hinted at a new Ultimate Doctor Strange.
In the run up to its release, fans wondered whether we’d see a new individual playing Strange or whether it would simply be a variation of what’s gone before.
“Wait, Ultimate Doctor Strange? As in, Stephen Strange Jr? Or a new Ultimate Doctor Strange?” asked Redditor ProblematicBoyfriend.
To this, the OP who shared the news responded that it was “a new one”.
This “intrigued” fans, leaving them wondering if this newcomer would eventually get their own comic series.
Although the OP believed it unlikely, they never ruled out the possibility.
Turns out, this new Doctor Strange was someone else entirely.
“Here after reading the issue. It isn’t Strange. I have no idea who this is, but it looks to be a female,” revealed Wheattoast2019.

Even though no one has responded since this additional information was added, who this mystery figure is will keep the fires of division burning for the foreseeable future.
Hopefully we’ll soon learn who she is – if she’s a she at all – and what this means for Doctor Strange.
Could be nothing, or it could be everything.
