The Time Variance Authority has become a key part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe since its appearance in 2021’s Loki.
With the organisation tasked with preventing the existence of certain timelines in the multiverse, we have seen it appear in several projects including the aforementioned Loki and more recently, Deadpool & Wolverine.

However, the TVA has existed long before its appearance onscreen as it was first mentioned way back in 1986 with the release of Thor #372.

Since then, the organisation has cropped up in volumes of Fantastic Four and Despicable Deadpool to name but a few as it fights to monitor alternate timelines.
That being said, many fans were first introduced to the TVA thanks to season one of Loki when the time-travelling god was arrested for his timeline hopping.
Earlier this year, Deadpool and Wolverine saw themselves working with the Time Variance Authority to safeguard the multiverse and now the organisation behind everything is back again.
Thanks to Marvel Comics, the TVA is bringing together a team consisting of multiple variants across the multiverse.

The TVA comic book series will feature some much-loved characters such as TVA Agent Mobius, O.B., B-15 and Miss Minutes from the hit Disney+ show.
We will also see appearances from Captain Peggy Carter, more specifically, the variant from Marvel’s What If…? series and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
More excitingly, fans of the Spider-Verse movies will be happy to learn that Gwen Stacy/Ghost-Spider will be swinging back into action after her relocation to Earth-616.
Last but not least, a Gambit variant will also be joining the brand-new team whose aim it is to save the multiverse once again.
