Marvel fans seriously hyped by our new Guardians Of The Galaxy lineup

Great new Guardians

The Guardians Of The Galaxy are probably going to return at some point in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it could take cues from the latest comic line-up..

As a fan of the characters Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 broke me, yet I’d still say it’s the best film the MCU has released so far.

Now's a great time to play the Guardians Of The Galaxy game too, it's on PlayStation Plus and it absolutely slaps

The end of the film leaves things semi-open for a fourth film, but we’ll see a new line-up of Guardians as several characters are off doing their own thing now.

Over in the comic world though, a completely new team of Guardians has assembled and I’d love to see it be realised in the MCU at some point.

They’re the Ultimate Guardians Of The Galaxy, another addition to the Ultimate universe which has given us a fresh collection of our favourite heroes with new looks, personalities and backstories.

The new Guardian team is smaller than previous iterations, with only four members at the time of writing but if they stick around I’d imagine they’ll add some new members.

Currently Star-Lord, Cosmo the Dog, Captain Marvel and Ultimate Nullifier make up the team, all with new designs.

It’s wildly different to what we’ve had before, that's great, fans agree too as one pointed out how nice it is to see the designs “aren’t trying to do the MCU lineup for the millionth time.”

Another user praised Star-Lord’s new look, saying it looks like they’re “leaning more into his space wizard origins.”

If the Guardians do make a return in the MCU at some point I’d love to see a similar roster like this take form, as Star-Lord is still on Earth for the time being, Captain Marvel is an important part of the universe, and Nullifier hasn’t been introduced yet.
