Marvel fans aren’t known for being united over much; despite being a part of the same fandom, opinions largely differ.
But there’s one thing that’s brought them together, and it comes from an unusual source.
The future of the MCU as we know it is changing. Fans have suspected that for some time, but now Marvel has officially confirmed it.

Naturally, with so much change in the air, fans are looking to the future and to what those familiar, beloved heroes will get up to.
What will become of Venom and Brock in Venom: The Last Dance?
And also what new adventures lesser-known characters may find themselves a part of.

Taking to Reddit, user worthplayingfor25 shared a screenshot of Rocket Racoon, Groot, Kraglin, Cosmo, Adam Warlock, and Phyla, aka the New Guardians of the Galaxy.
We’ve seen them in action before, but wothplayingfor25 is now wondering how one would pitch a film or series about this team.
You’d expect fans to be divided over what direction such a project would go in, but instead they’ve teamed up – it’s nearly as wholesome as seeing Fallout and Marvel fans unite.
Redditor MarcoVitoOddo suggested, “It could be a movie with the Guardians dealing with Annihilation before a big crossover when they need backup.”

To which another user responded, “Came here to say exactly this [...] The Guardians encounter seemingly unrelated events but by the end of the film, realise they're all connected and are leading to Annihilation, which would be an Avengers-level movie.”
It’s an epic idea, one which intensifies as more plot elements are thrown into the mix.
Such a “cosmic team up” wouldn’t just see the New Guardians battle for survival but also the Fantastic Four, Marvels, Thor, and the Eternals.
“I’m loving this Marvels, Eternals, New Guardians mash up idea,” commented Throwupmyhands.

A united front like this won’t last long, so let’s give it up for the New Guardians, the heroes who united a fandom.
