I think it's largely fair to say the MCU's Multiverse Saga has not been an overwhelming success with audiences.
Where it seemed to be the Infinity Saga was always very clearly building up to one giant, richly rewarding denouement, the Multiverse Saga has meandered meaninglessly to the point I have no clue where any of it is going, why I should really care, or if it'll even be paid off in a satisfying way.
Also: Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom? Nah. Sorry. Still not on board with that.

Anyway, we already know the Multiverse Saga will struggle on through until the end of Phase Six of the MCU, which will officially begin next year and ultimately conclude with The Avengers: Secret Wars.
But what will the final solo movies of Phase Six be? According to industry insider Daniel RPK, we can expect them to be the recently announced Spider-Man 4 and the long-suffering Blade movie.
Evidently, this is not really what fans were expecting, with many questioning why we aren't getting sequels to movies that really should have had them by now.
"The lack of any direct sequels in this 'saga' is insane. How the f*ck was there no Dr Strange 3 or Shang-Chi 2?" one Reddit user asks. "Iron Man, Cap & Thor had completed trilogies before the end of the Infinity Saga. The Guardians & Ant-Man had two movies each."

"Yeah Strange [2, Multiverse Of Madness] setup incursions," another pointed out. "And Shang-Chi 2 could have at least served as Avengers 4.5."
While Spider-Man 4 is, of course, a direct sequel, it seems wild that Shang-Chi and Doctor Strange specifically have been left out of Phase 6 after their respective previous movies established them as a much larger part of the Multiverse Saga.
"This 'saga' was simply all over the place with no sense of connectivity except for few tv series and movies," another Reddit user complained. I can't say I disagree, sadly.
