Marvel has found the perfect MCU role for Keanu Reeves, fans agree

Cast Keanu in everything!

If there’s an actor in the world of Hollywood that can seemingly do no wrong, it’s the breathtaking Keanu Reeves and fans would love to see him cast as a popular Marvel character in the MCU.

Arguably, Keanu Reeves is best known for his roles as Neo in The Matrix as well as the lethal assassin John Wick in the titular film series. He also played a leading role as Johnny Silverhand in CD Projekt RED’s sci-fi RPG Cyberpunk 2077.

For years, fans have been keen to see Keanu Reeves cast as a Marvel character in the MCU and during an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, he expressed his desire to one day play Johnny Blaze aka Ghost Rider.

Though to be fair, Keanu Reeves has played a role similar to the daredevil stuntman Johnny Blaze as Duke Caboom in Toy Story 4. Hey, I know it's a loose connection, but Disney owns both Marvel and Pixar Animation, plus Blaze and Caboom have similar day jobs.

Previously, fans envisioned Keanu Reeves as Ghost Rider such as this stunning piece of artwork and now, talented fans have been at it again as shared in an Instagram post by 21xfour (thanks ScreenRant).

The Instagram post featuring the artwork was full of comments such as, “Need,” “Please,” and, “Dope,” as well as clapping emojis wishing that the Marvel and Disney gods would bring his concept to fruition.

While a new Ghost Rider movie hasn't been announced, rumours have been circulating social media for quite some time that Jensen Ackles could be the one to land the leading role. I doubt we’ll see the last of Ghost Rider in live-action form and whomever is cast, let’s just hope that the actor does the character justice.

The next movie to arrive in the MCU is Captain America: Brave New World arriving in cinemas on 14 February 2024.
