Marvel has the perfect MCU role for Keanu Reeves, fans agree

Make it happen!

Beloved Hollywood actor and all-around nice guy, Keanu Reeves has been perfectly cast in the MCU by fans.

You’d struggle to find a bad word said about Keanu Reeves known for his roles as Neo in The Matrix, Johnny Silverhand in Cyberpunk 2077 and more recently, the upcoming Shadow in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 later this year.

Check out the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 trailer below!

It seems that our breathtaking Keanu Reeves can do no wrong and if the main man himself wants to play a Marvel character in the MCU, the folks at Disney need to make it happen. Sadly, however, Keanu Reeves hasn't been cast as any character in the MCU just yet, so Marvel fans have taken it upon themselves.

“I saw “Keanu Reeves as 80’s Ghost Rider” which made me curious to do a modern one,” said Redditor BloodFalcon616, sharing a badass piece of fan art and fellow fans want to make it official.

“Keanu Reeves said it would be an honour for him to join the MCU, so I made a concept featuring him as Ghost Rider,” tweeted rahalarts.

“Keanu Reeves as Ghost Rider. That is all,” YourDadYoda, said to put it simply.

“Keanu Reeves has been my pick for Johnny Blaze in a Ghost Rider reboot for ages and if they want him for a villain, give him the Deacon Frost role opposite Mahershala Ali in Blade,” explained ChristopherM.

It’s worth keeping in mind that the casting of Keanu Reeves as Ghost Rider may never happen, especially with rumours circulating that the potential role may already belong to Ryan Gosling. However, with the MCU heavily leaning into the multiverse, I’m sure there’s plenty of room for more than one Ghost Rider.

You can hear Keanu Reeves as Shadow in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 when it arrives in cinemas on 20 December this year. The next MCU movie, Captain America: Brave New World will be released on 14 February 2025.
