Marvel drops gorgeous teaser for new MCU Black Panther sequel

Marvel drops gorgeous teaser for new MCU Black Panther sequel

Wakanda is back

After it was first announced back in December of last year, the upcoming Black Panther series has finally given us our first look at an official logo.

First confirmed almost a year ago, Marvel Studios is set to bring the Black Panther franchise back to the forefront with a brand-new television series coming to Disney+.

Check out the trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever below!

It was back in 2018 that Black Panther became a household name thanks to its first blockbuster movie release.

It was then followed by sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and the duology told the story of T’Challa who returns to his home of Wakanda after inheriting the throne following his father’s death.

The movies were an instant hit and earned over $2 billion at the box office combined. So it is no wonder that Marvel Studios has been working on a dedicated television adaptation.

Titled Eyes of Wakanda, the Disney+ show is said to focus on the Wakandan warriors from throughout history who have worked to retrieve stolen vibranium in order to keep their country safe.

Now we have our first official look at the series courtesy of a press release from Marvel Studios.

With a black background, the title Eyes of Wakanda is written and white and sandwiched between two purple lines with what looks like dust coming from the text.

Not only that but it has also been confirmed that the show will air on 6 August, 2025.

This will be the first Black Panther related release since Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in 2022 so you have plenty of time to catch up on the movie duo in the meantime.

Other than that, we don’t know much else about Eyes of Wakanda, including which characters may or may not star in it.

However, it is doubtful that it will be too big of a cast as it has been reported that the show will only be four-episodes long.

Either way, it is an exciting time for fans of Wakanda and its warriors.
