Were you one of the millions of people who watched chairs, for hours, yesterday? If not, allow me to recap.
Marvel aired a long live stream yesterday revealing the cast for Avengers: DOOMSDAY, by showing a long row of chairs with the cast names printed on the back.
Before the Avengers assemble, we've got to see who makes it out of Thunderbolts*
Among the many X-Men returning, The Fantastic Four appearing, and members of the Thunderbolts, we have a tentative line-up for the Avengers.

Of course, in true Marvel fashion, the studio has hinted that there are more announcements to come, which isn’t surprising as the line-up was missing some key names.
However, here’s a look at the key members of the MCU coming back in preparation to take on Doctor Doom.
- Chris Hemsworth (Thor)
- Anthony Mackie (Captain America)
- Letitia Wright (Black Panther)
- Paul Rudd (Ant-Man)
- José Tenoch Huerta Mejía (Namor)
- Simu Liu (Shang-Chi)
- Danny Ramirez (Joaquin Torres/Falcon)
- Tom Hiddleston (Loki)
- Lewis Pullman (Sentry/Robert Reynolds)
Some of those names may not feel like Avengers material, namely Namor, Loki, and Sentry. Loki could indeed be the key to Doctor Doom combining all the multiverses, though Sentry likely has the power to do so, too.

On the flip side, Sentry is also the most powerful character in the line-up, which could mean he’s recruited to the Avengers in order to stop Doom.
You’ll notice that some of the familiar heroes of recent years are missing - Captain Marvel, Ms Marvel, Spider-Man, even the likes of Daredevil, but the studio could be holding a lot of names back for cameos, or appearances in Avengers: Secret Wars.
Perhaps we’ll get another lengthy chair stream soon, revealing yet more stars heading to London to begin filming in the coming weeks.
For now, we’ll begin speculating on how some of these characters fit together, and whether they’ll survive what Doom has in store.
