Ghost Rider is one fan-favourite character that we’re desperate to see appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Of course, the pedantic among you will be pointing out that this somewhat happened in Agents of Shield - a programme which I actually quite enjoyed.
It had its blips, but Gabriel Luna - perhaps now best known to you as Tommy in HBO’s The Last of Us - brought us a great version of Robbie Reyes.

But Agents of Shield’s ‘canon’ status is now rather messy.
Some say it’s no longer canon. Others say it’s canon but set within another universe.
Whatever the truth is, the events that unfolded in that show are not believed to belong to the Sacred Timeline, which means technically we’re still due a Ghost Rider MCU debut.
While nothing has been prominently confirmed regarding the future of the character, Agatha All Along did quietly drop a tease right under our noses.

With Agatha All Along having wrapped up, all eyes turn to Captain America: Brave New World. Take a look at the film’s trailer below.
If you’re not up to date on Agatha All Along, you may want to bookmark this article and return at a later date.
With the show having wrapped, it’s now confirmed that Jennifer Kale is the only surviving witch from Agatha’s makeshift coven, with Lilia and Alice both perishing.

Of course, Agatha also lives on albeit as a ghostly version of herself.
Jennifer’s survival may be more key than you first realised though.
Throughout the series, the potions witch was able to regain her powers, flying away to from whence she came after escaping the Witches Road - or should I say Billy’s vision.
If you’re sitting there thinking this is likely the last we’ll see of the character, perhaps not.

You see, Jennifer Kale is the cousin of Johnny Blaze in Marvel Comics - and Johnny Blaze is, as I’m sure you’re aware, one of the comics’ iterations of Ghost Rider.
Jennifer’s inclusion in Agatha All Along could be a simple nod to a lesser used Marvel character, but it’s already pretty likely that she’ll resurface when Ghost Rider is introduced.
This adds weight to the likelihood that it is the Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider that’ll debut, as opposed to Robbie Reyes (again) or Danny Ketch.
This isn’t the only possible future for the character.

Jennifer Kale also has ties to Man-Thing and Midnight Sons, and there have certainly been whispers of the latter surfacing in the MCU soon.
I certainly don’t think this is the last we’ve seen of her, which is great news because Sasheer Zamata did a fantastic job bringing Jennifer to life.
