Following a rumour regarding the next two Avengers films, Marvel fans don’t quite know how to feel about the future of the MCU.
After a rocky couple of months, it seems like the Marvel Cinematic Universe is finally back on its feet thanks to major upcoming releases like Deadpool And Wolverine in addition to Captain America: Brave New World.

However as far as new Avengers films go, there’s still a lot left up in the air regarding who’ll star, who’ll direct and how it’ll shape the future of the franchise.

Following Jonathan Majors being dropped as Kang The Conqueror, it’s going to take a good director to get things back on track, and reports seem to point to the Russo brothers returning for the next two crossover events.
As I’m sure most are aware, the Russo brothers directed Avengers Infinity War and Avengers Endgame, and also directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War.
Following that track record, the majority of fans are happy to see them potentially return, and took to twitter to share their optimism.
Several fans declared ‘We won,” with others adding that it “makes sense. Hope they get a deal done. The Russo Brothers are awesome filmmakers.”

Now at the time of writing nothing has been confirmed, as it’s said the Russos are only in talks to return and direct, but given their previous success with the MCU, and the promised multiversal scale of the next Avengers films it's only make sense to bring back directors with experience.
Some fans are a little more sceptical, as while Avengers Infinity War and Avengers Endgame are peak cinema, they did drop the ball at times like with the Hulk’s involvement with the story, and the convoluted time travel plot.
