Marvel fan-favourite MCU debut teased in new concept art

We're fired up about this

The time for a fan-favourite Marvel character to return might be upon us.

As a long-time fan of this particular superhero, I really hope so.

Marvel may be having a quiet year as far as releases are concerned, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of irons in the fire.

With Robert Downey Jr officially returning as Iron Man and playing Doctor Doom, most MCU fans have yet to find their equilibrium.

We can only hope Daredevil: Born Again lives up to Marvel's Daredevil series

We’re afraid this isn’t going to help matters, however, it’ll likely make you very happy.

New concept art has teased Ghost Rider's debut to MCU.

In a Twitter post, Deadpool Updates shared an image of “official concept art” from Deadpool & Wolverine.

Not only is it a badass picture, but it also shows Nicolas Cage’s Ghost Rider fighting by the Merc with a Mouth’s side.

As those of you who’ve already seen the film will know, such a scene never takes place.

In the words of Twitter user Zach, “We got robbed not getting Ghost Rider, man.”

Despite not taking place in the film, this isn’t to say the Spirit of Vengeance won’t ride again in another film.

Even though Cage has said he’s finished playing that part, he’s never completely ruled out the possibility of reprising the role.

As of yet, though, “nobody” has asked him about it.

Maybe this social media reveal will change that...? We can but hope.

Although this is only a teaser, and one that could lead to naught, there’s still plenty of other guaranteed moments in upcoming Marvel projects that have us on the edge of our seats.

With Daredevil: Born Again said to be going a “step further”, we anticipate a stellar performance from the cast when it airs.

Still, if we could get another appearance from Ghost Rider in the works, we’d be overjoyed.

Of course, there is the Agents of Shield iteration although whether that show is canon or not continues to be up for debate.

It’s time to get manifesting, Marvel fans.
