The Spider-Man franchise is going from strength to strength with Spider-Man 4 on the way as well as a new animated television show.
However, with both of these upcoming projects focusing on Peter Parker once again, fans are interested as to when they can expect to see Miles Morales make his live-action debut.

Despite being created way back in 2011 by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Sara Pichelli for Marvel Comics, Miles Morales has yet to make it to a live-action adaptation.
However, according to a recent comment by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, his debut may finally be on the horizon.
Speaking to Omelete ahead of Marvel’s D23 Brazil panel, Feige was questioned about Miles’ role in the MCU.
“Miles will appear in the third Spider-Verse, which is in production. I hope that, shortly after that, he can enter the MCU in live-action”, he said simply.

With the third Spider-Verse movie, Beyond the Spider-Verse, already in development, we could be seeing Miles’ introduction to the MCU a lot sooner than we think.
That being said, Beyond the Spider-Verse has already fallen prey to delays so it is worth holding onto that hype for a bit longer.
However, concerns were eased slightly when Spider-Verse producer Chris Miller took to Twitter to clear up the rumours of the next instalment being delayed to 2027.
“Nothing has been scrapped. The reels are coming along nicely,” he assured fans.

As for the future of our live-action Spider-Man, Spider-Man 4 is on the way with Tom Holland returning to his role as Peter Parker.
However, with the MCU diving into the world of the Multiverse in recent years, it would make sense for Miles Morales to appear at any time.
Now onto the next question - who will take on the role?
