We also have a good idea of who will be playing Rubeus Hagrid, once played by another beloved actor who is no longer with us, Robbie Coltrane. The new actor expected to play this role is Nick Frost, who starred in the comedy movies Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World’s End, to name a few.
On Reddit, Harry Potter fans have been discussing the likelihood of Nick Frost playing the role of Hagrid, who recently responded to the rumours.
“It’s in no way, shape, or form confirmed. I’m thrilled that I would even be considered,” said Frost in a tweet shared by Screen Rant.
“I’m biased because he's one of my favourite actors, but I think he'll kill it,” exclaimed Redditor Dazzling-One-9185.
