The Elder Scrolls 6 first leaks leave fans divided

The Elder Scrolls 6 first leaks leave fans divided

An Elder Scrolls 6 leak has fans hotly debating the concept

A Pinterest board owned by a Bethesda employee has given us some concrete information on The Elder Scrolls 6 before it was locked down.

The board featured hundreds of pins seemingly for inspiration while working on the Skyrim follow-up and fans are divided on many possible aspects of the new RPG.

Bethesda's Starfield is getting an official DLC expansion later this year with Shatter Space

The discussion began on Reddit after the leak was plugged but with so many screenshots of the Pinterest board, details can still be found online.

Perhaps the most hotly contested topic is the setting of The Elder Scrolls 6 which, from the images pulled from Pinterest, point to Hammerfell.

One user, therealyittyb, voiced a query after seeing various comments saying, “Okay, but what the f**k do some people here have against Hammerfell?”

Several Redditors swiftly answered this but it was LudwigsUnholySpade who commented, “I can’t wait for TESVI to be branded ‘woke’ since most of the NPCs will probably be black if it is indeed set in Hammerfell.”

FireFoxQuattro spotted this comment and voiced their concerns, “Man after the BF1 and AC woke stuff it just gets tiring being a black gamer lol.”

Many are already dreading the ‘discourse’. As Hammerfell is based on the African continent it will surely draw the ire from corners of the internet because we can’t have nice things.

One lore-minded gamer explained the Hammerfell region for those who aren’t aware of the history, “There's a big desert, but there's also tropical areas, coastal, grasslands, mountains. Seems like a great region for a TES game in terms of variety.”

This should make for a very different area compared to Skyrim which was very Nordic and wintery, it will be a stark departure and welcomed by many.

Of course, this is all speculation and should be taken with a pinch of salt, however, it’s a pretty solid leak and it was reinforced by the swift lockdown of the account.
