It’s going to be a while before we get our hands on Mass Effect 5, but you could soften that blow by acquiring this very nice Command Shepard 1/6 Scale Statue.
Those of us who enjoy video games tend to also like a bit of ‘stuff’ to go with them, whether that be figurines, art books, or other collectibles.
If you’ve seen The Little Mermaid, just picture Ariel looking around at her whosits and whatsits.

For those of you sitting there in your bedroom thinking, ‘That’s me’, a new Mass Effect collectible is on the way that may be of interest.
Pre-orders are open for a lovely Command Shepard 1/6 Scale Statue from Dark Horse Direct - although it does boast a rather hefty price tag.
Take a look at this Mass Effect 5 teaser below.
Dark Horse is a fantastic company for collectibles, with many of my favourite tie-in art books created by them.

Later this year, they’ll release a brand new Commander Shepard collectible figure that’s easily going to prove to be a hit with Mass Effect fans.
It will set you back a rather hefty $199.99 but it is a premium item that you’re getting.
I should add that it’s Fem Shep that I’m talking about, with the statue drawing inspiration from the cover art of Mass Effect 3 in addition to several pieces of concept art taken from throughout the series’ history.

The sixth scale statue is made out of polyresin and “crafted by the masters at Gentle Giant Studios”.
There are just 1000 units available so this could end up being quite a sought after piece.
The statue measures 12 inches from top to toe, that’s on top of a 1.5 inch tall, 6.5 inch diameter base.
Pre-orders are open now with the figure expected to ship between July and September. You will also get a certificate of authenticity.

There is, understandably, a limit of two per customer although given the price tag, I’m not sure too many people will be trying to swipe up multiple items.
It joins a series of other Dark Horse Mass Effect figurines including those of Wrex, Tali, and Liara. You can get the whole gang back together.
