When it comes to free games, there are none more spoiled than PC gamers.
Sure, they might have to deal with the occasionally broken launch and more hard-to-fix issues than other platforms, but there are so many free games!
In the last week alone there have been so many new free games available via Steam and other storefronts. It's true that the majority of them are hardly AAA heavy hitters, but there are some real hidden gems in the mix.
Right now, PC gamers can get their mitts on two of Steam's best-rated RPGs. Perfect for anyone looking to lose themselves in a good old-fashioned adventure.

As pointed out by Free Steam Games on Twitter, Wasteland 3 is currently free to download and keep via Robot Cache until July 20. With a 9/10 rating on Steam, Wasteland 3 is a gritty apocalyptic RPG that recalls the earlier Fallout games.
Here's the official Steam description for you: "Wasteland 3 is a squad-based RPG from inXile entertainment, featuring challenging tactical turn-based combat and a deep, reactive story full of twists, turns, and brutal ethical decisions that will keep you hooked whether you’re a Wasteland veteran or new to the series.
"Create a squad of up to six Rangers and customize them with perks and abilities geared to your playstyle. You even get your own battle truck, which you can upgrade into a hardened war beast, bristling with weapons, to help mow down your enemies."
Next up is Grime, which is currently free to download and keep via the Epic Games Store. All you have to is create an Epic Games account and it's yours. That's literally it. Easy.

Another Steam 9/10, Grime is: "a fast and unforgiving Action-Adventure RPG in which you crush your foes with living weapons that mutate form and function, and then consume their remains with a black hole to strengthen your vessel as you break apart a world of anatomical horror and intrigue."
Two very different RPGs, but both definitely worth your time! And we all know things are better when they're free, right? Yeah.
