Who wants some free games? I asked to be polite, but the answer is quite obvious given that you clicked on this article. Luckily for you, Steam has got you covered.
As highlighted by the very helpful Twitter account @SteamGamesPC, a bunch of new free titles have landed on Steam in the last couple of weeks. You can dive into all of these and play as much as you like with absolutely no strings attached. Let’s take a look.
On top of these games, you can currently check out the free demo for the promising Metroidvania title, Ebenezer and The Invisible World. Take a look at the trailer below.
First of all we have Edemn - an FPS that looks like it was plucked from the early 2000s (in the best way possible). The title is still in early access, so at the time of writing, only the Deathmatch mode is available to try. More will be added in the future though, so even if you’re not bothered about it now, be sure to keep an eye on it. You can find it here.

Next is Bucket Brawl - an arena fighting game where you, playing as a toy animal, face off against other toys in fast-paced battles, attempting to get each other ‘recycled’. It looks very chaotic - check it out here.
Anyu is a gorgeous narrative exploration game in which you must take the explorer, Ikku, on a journey through a frozen wasteland which was once home to an ancient civilisation. You’ll have to overcome puzzles and utilise the environment in order to make it to the top of a mountain and see the northern lights. Be sure to take a look at the game here.
Undawn is an open-world survival RPG set in a post-apocalyptic world still crawling with infected. You’ll have to face off against other players and threats in the environment in order to survive, on top of balancing your character’s ‘survival indicators’ such as hunger and hydration. Play it for free here.
Solar Showdown is a local multiplayer game with tower defence and real time strategy elements. Face off against a friend and harvest solar power to make minions, build your defences, and ultimately overwhelm your opponent. Give it a go here.

Finally, we have the side-scrolling action-adventure title, The Stranded Traveler. This lovely retro-style game will have you embark on a journey across a mysterious island, fight tough bosses and discover the truth behind an evil organisation which has doomed Earth. Be sure to check it out here.
All in all, there’s some real gems there, so be sure to check them out if you’re looking for something new to play. If none of those take your fancy, you can take a look at another six Steam freebies right here.
