A critically acclaimed game has been made free on Steam to celebrate Pride Month, and you can pick it up for the entire month of June to keep.
If you hadn't noticed, June is officially Pride Month, which is when a large number of brands suddenly pretend to care about LGBTQ+ rights by changing their profile pictures to a rainbow.
Fortunately, some companies out there actually care about representation and walking the walk, which is why Steam users can currently get their hands on a free game.

Tell Me Why is an episodic adventure title about Tyler Ronan and his twin sister Alyson. Tyler is a trans man, and the game dives into his life and how being trans has affected him throughout both the present day, and the past. Players see into Tyler and Alyson's childhood, allowing them to experience what the twins did,. It's rare to see trans characters put front and center in a AAA video game, so the fact that the developer has put the game out for free is pretty important.
The title is developed by Don't Nod, who are best known as the developers of Life is Strange and the upcoming Lost Records: Bloom and Rage. The developer simply asks that instead of giving them money for the game, players should instead donate that money to charity.
"It's that time of year again: Tell Me Why is free throughout June 2024 in honor of Pride Month," the developer wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
"As in past years, we ask that you give your money and support to trans creators, trans-inclusive charities in your community, and trans people in need."

The developer has been offering the game for free since 2021 during Pride Month, always asking players to use the money they would have spent to support trans people in other ways.
