There are, I think we can all agree, a silly number of games on Steam.
Without Googling it, I can confidently say there are at definitely over 50 games on Steam. Probably more, if you really think about it.
Given there's such a fat stack of games over on Steam, it's understandable that you might miss a few bangers every now and then. It happens. Don't feel bad about it.

One such game was released way back in 2012, but is still finding new players every day.
That's partly because this game is a free game, I grant you, but also because it's still getting hugely positive reviews from satisfied players.
The game is Realm Of The Mad God Exalt, a chaotic bullet hell MMORPG.
What exactly is this game? Here's the full description via Steam:
"Embark on an exhilarating journey into the pixelated Realm of the Mad God! Join, an action-packed, free-to-play MMO bullet hell game. Discover a world with danger, challenges, and hidden treasures as you battle through waves of enemies. Team up with players and conquer dungeons to become a legend!"

Over on Steam Realm Of The Mad God is a certified 9/10 banger, with tens of thousands of positive reviews.
"Simple and fun, and a great time killer," reads one of the more recent reviews. "Feels like a good mix of a simple game, and tiered skill requirements."
Another adds: "I usually hate games like this, but this game is ADDICTING. It's a really fun time killer and leveling up isn't hard at all and the bosses are hard but also really fun! This games a 10/10 there's honestly nothing wrong with it. If you're ever bored and want to play a new game."
I would just add I try to avoid calling games addictive for many reasons, but I take the above review's point - this one can be hard to put down. If you're currently gaming on a tight budget, you could do worse.
