Starfield is finally available in early access, and a number of fans have been a little too eager to get stuck in, I think.
Bethesda's latest RPG has so far gotten a ton of really great reviews - including a GAMINGbible 10/10 - but has also lower scores from other outlets. The Metacritic score certainly isn't what some fans expected, but for the most part Starfield seems to be living up to expectations. That's a rare feat in this day and age.
Take a look at our Starfield review below!
Over on the Xbox Series X subreddit a number of Starfield fans had a little panic when Starfield wouldn't let them in, despite having pre-loaded the game and despite it being past the specified launch time in their region. You can see how this would terrify fans who have been waiting years to play.

"Starfield won’t play, it’s after launch time. Wtf is going on?," wrote on user.
An alarming number of users responded to say they were having the exact same issue, although most seem to have gotten around it by simply trying over and over again until the game finally relents and lets them in. So, if you find yourself unable to play Starfield when the game launches outside of early access on 6 September, you know what to do. Keep banging on that door till they let you into space.
"Starfield is without a doubt a monumental release - and not just because it's Bethesda’s first new IP in 25 years," we wrote in our glowing review of the game.
"The journey you embark on will dazzle you, and I have no doubt that players will be gripped for months, perhaps even years to come. Here is a playground where you can be whoever you want to be. I simply cannot stop thinking about Starfield and the wondrous secrets it still holds. Bethesda, I have one word: bravo."
