Starfield will soon be bundled in with the latest AMD Ryzen 7000 Series CPUs as a free download.
We recently reported that AMD was potentially launching a bundle campaign for the highly anticipated title, Starfield, supplying the game as a free download provided you dropped a big chunk of cash on a new CPU.
Here's a close look at some of Starfield's exploration gameplay
Now, AMD has officially announced several new CPU bundles, all of which include Bethesda’s new space-exploration game as a free download, allowing you to play the game at launch, whilst taking full advantage of your shiny new CPU’s speed and power.

Starting today, 11th July, until 30th September, customers buying a CPU from the Ryzen 7000 series will receive a free download for Starfield, which will be either the standard or premium edition depending on which CPU is bought.
Standard editions of the game will be packaged with Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7 7000 Series processors, in addition to the Radeon RX 6600 Series and RX 7600 Series graphics cards. The Premium Edition will be included with all AMD Ryzen 9 7000 Series CPUs, Radeon RX 7900 Series GPUs, and Radeon RX 6700 Series GPUs and above.
That extra power will be greatly appreciated too, as Starfield is one of the biggest open-world games in recent memory, packed with over 1,000 planets to explore. Players on Xbox Series X/S consoles will be restricted to 30 FPS to secure graphical fidelity, but PC players will be able to push the framerate to 60 provided their hardware can handle it.
If you’re an Xbox fan, worry not, there’s a deal available for you too, as Xbox Game Pass is offering one month of its subscription service for £1, meaning you could play Starfield at launch at no additional cost for 30 days.
