If you've played Stardew Valley then you'll know the game begins with you leaving the hustle and bustle of city living behind for a much simpler life on a farm.
That's the theory, at least. While I know life in a city can be stressful, at least I don't have to spend my days descending mines fighting monsters. Anyway, the main thrust of Stardew Valley is: farm life is good.
However, what if you decide you want to return to the big city? At least for a visit? The good news is there's a mod for that. There's a mod for everything.

Downtown Zuzu is a fantastic mod that allows players to hop on a bus and leave the countryside behind for a little while. Zuzu is, of course, the bustling metropolis you hear Stardew Valley NPCs frequently return to, so it's very cool to see one modder's impression of the place.
While we are getting a big Stardew Valley update later this year, it's unlikely to offer anything substantial as as whole new area (which, fair enough, honestly). But with Downtown Zuzu you can at last explore a section of the famed city.
"Welcome to the bustling heart of Stardew Valley - Downtown Zuzu," writes the Zuzu Development Team. "This electrifying mod injects an explosion of excitement into your sleepy farm life.
"Prepare yourself for a whirlwind adventure packed with new features, characters, and quirky surprises! Say goodbye to the mundane farming life and say hello to skyscrapers, fancy cafes, and a city vibe that'll make even the Junimos do the hustle! This incredible mod brings urban excitement and a dose of chaos to your beloved farming sim. The city is accessible in many ways - on the bus via BusLocations, via the train, or via the sewers!"

While the mod is still being worked on, it's totally playable and packed with all sorts of fun features. So if you're missing the city in Stardew Valley, be sure to pay Downtown Zuzu a visit.
