Stardew Valley’s modding community is on fire lately.
In case you missed it, ‘Baldur’s Village’ has finally landed which, yes, does indeed bring the world of Larian Studios’ Baldur’s Gate 3 to Stardew Valley.
Another chance to romance Astarion? I can’t imagine many people are going to turn that down.

Then there’s ‘Forever Falls’ which introduces a new farm type six times the size of your usual fare.
Or ‘The Forgotten Woods’ adds in new locations that are perfect for those who enjoy both foraging and adventuring.
Today though, it’s ‘Sunberry Village’ that I’d like to draw your attention to.
Created by NexusMods users skellady and sophiesalacia, this is essentially an expansion-sized mod that adds a new town, plus tons of items, NPCs, crops, special orders, mines, and more.

If you’re a fan of Stardew Valley, then you’ll likely enjoy Hello Kitty Island Adventure too.
The titular Sunberry Village will sit south of Pelican Town.
There, you’ll be able to meet 17 new NPCs, experience over 80 new events as well as new stories and plotlines, while some characters will even don seasonal outfits.

As for what’s on offer to purchase, Sunberry Village features a blacksmith, weaponsmith, clothing store, cat cafe, convenience store, as well as a flower seed and sapling seller.
When it comes to quests, there’s a new special order board, a new museum to fill, a new farm to unlock, and new unlockable items to gain.
I can’t list every single new item, but they feature across a wide variety of categories, from fish to trees, minerals, artifacts, and machines.
Finally, the mod includes new mines with multiple levels and biomes where you’ll find new monsters.

The mod is totally free to download via NexusMods and fair to say, will keep you busy for quite some time.
Best of all, the devs are still looking to expand the mod’s offerings, so I have a feeling that ‘Sunberry Village’ isn’t something we’re going to forget any time soon.
