I'm cautiously optimistic about Star Wars Outlaws. A brand-new open-world Star Wars game from Ubisoft that lets us play as a bounty hunter? This has the potential to be genuinely massive.
Star Wars fans have been desperate to learn more about Star Wars Outlaws since it was announced last year, but Ubisoft is currently hard at work actually, you know, making the game.
Take a look at it in action below!
We know the game will feature a Red Dead Redemption-style reputation system, and that it's apparently coming before the end of the year, which is ridiculously exciting. Now, an update from Ubisoft and NVIDIA has got PC gamers all hot under the collar.

So what's going on? Well, NVIDIA recently announced it's partnered with Ubisoft and Lucasfilm Games for Star Wars Outlaws. This means the game will officially support NVIDIA’s DLSS 3 and Reflex, plus all manner of sexy ray-tracing effects.
NVIDIA didn't have much more to say, so it's currently unclear exactly how the upcoming Star Wars game will leverage all this saucy extra graphical oomph, but we've seen NVIDIA’s DLSS 3 do incredible things to games like Cyberpunk 2077. So in other words, prepare yourself for a properly next-gen looking game.
I've no doubt we'll hear more about Star Wars Outlaws this summer. Hopping between systems, exploring planets, and taking jobs all while being constantly hunted by enemies and rival bounty hunters sounds like an absolute dream for Star Wars fans everywhere, so this is one game we'll all be watching very closely.
If Ubisoft can deliver on what it's promising, we could end 2024 with one of the year's best surprises - and a brand-new contender for best Star Wars game of all time. We'll update you with more on Star Wars Outlaws as soon as we get it.
